A member of our leadership team since October 2024, Karen is passionate about sharing what makes the Hermitage Three Chopt community unique in Richmond. After touring assisted living communities with her own parents and having several family members live with Alzheimer’s, Karen felt “called” to senior living, particularly Memory Support. She considers it an honor to connect with family members as they make this important personal decision on behalf of their loved one. Karen’s background is diverse and includes roles in human resources, sales, working hard as a stay-at-home-mom and teaching indoor cycling. She lives in Midlothian with her husband George, her son Cameron, and the occasional house guest, her favorite JMU Duke, Ryan. She enjoys weekend getaways, reading, cooking, travel and her dog, Alice.
